Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience, from taking orders to delivering food and drinks with precision and care.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha or Micros POS systems.
- Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and pairings to enhance the dining experience.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area to uphold sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service flow and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines during food preparation, handling, and service.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a restaurant or food service role is required particularly in fine dining or high-volume establishments.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and prioritize tasks during busy shifts.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and create memorable experiences.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately; cash handling experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and culinary techniques is beneficial.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 28 per week
